Eileen Murphy has been with Castleisland Day Care Centre as secretary since its opening in 2002.
She has seen the development of the centre and the intake of clients growing beyond expectations in that time and has kept an immaculate record of the day-to-day business of the centre during her tenure there.
Thriving Centre
Eileen has now called time on her career in the cockpit of the thriving centre and current and former colleagues gathered to say their farewells this week.
“Castleisland Day Care Centre grew, in great part, because of Eileen. She was a very important part of the efficient running of the centre since our opening sixteen years ago,” said Nurse / Manager, Marcella Finn.
Well Organised Office
“Eileen’s efficiency has helped the centre to thrive. Eileen managed a well organised office where she oversaw all aspects of business from book-keeping and finance to staffing and clients.
A Hard Worker
“She was a hard worker whose presence inspired and encouraged other staff members. We are all going to really miss her. We hope that retirement will bring her the opportunity to do whatever it is that she always wanted to do,” Ms. Finn concluded.
