Kerry College of Further Education (KCFE) is still offering limited places for leaving certificate students, mature students wishing to return to college, and those wishing to up-skill and change career direction.

With two campuses now in Tralee, KCFE offers a wide range of courses to facilitate progression to third level colleges and to qualify students with work ready skills.

Wide Range of Courses

Courses in Business and Technology, Administration, Medical and Legal, Beauty, Carers, Emergency Care Skills, Pharmacy Assistant, Pre-University Law, Pre-Garda, Applied Science and Food Nutrition, Engineering, Hotel and Catering and Professional Cookery are among those on offer.

Not Too Late

It is not too late to apply, according to Mary Lucey, Principal of KCFE, as the college will do its very best to facilitate any applications that are now submitted.

This will ensure that a student will not be disappointed in securing a place and may still start on the road to a successful career this month.

Anxious Students

Ms. Lucey said that already she is dealing with queries from anxious students who have commenced third level programmes in universities and institutes of technology throughout the country and may already feel they are on the incorrect course or are struggling with the transition.

Test the Waters

KCFE may be the solution in this instance enabling students to test the waters in an area of interest in a supported environment.

Applications may be made online at kerryfe.ie or if you have any queries or want to talk about an application; feel free to pop in to the Kerry College in Clash or email info@kerryfe.ie – or phone 066-7121741.
