Harvest Festival Cheque Presentation
A number of cheques were presented in Walsh’s Bar on Saturday night from proceeds of events run in conjunction with this year’s Harvest Festival.
The Vintage Run raised over €1,500 for Down Syndrome Kerry.
The Sports Day at Walsh’s Bar raised over €700 and this was divided between Pieta House and Knocknagoshel Coiste na nÓg.
Kieran McAuliffe also presented a cheque for over €600 to Pieta House on the night. Many thanks to those responsible for raising these funds.
GAA Club Lotto Draw
The next draw will be for a jackpot of €7,700 and will be held in The Village Inn on Saturday 6th of October.
Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL, Leahy’s Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers.
Club Fixtures
St. Kieran’s minor team lost to East Kerry in the County Minor final on Sunday last. Knock/Brosna/Duagh will play Asdee/Ballylongford in the semi final of Division 2 North Kerry minor championship. Date and time are not yet fixed for this game.
Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection
Knocknagoshel GAA are holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes,handbags, curtains and towels.
