A Fashion Show venue for this very Wednesday evening is Vincent’s on Castleisland’s Church Street.

The event will showcase the autumn/winter style available in store – which used to be the St. Vincent de Paul shop.

Focus Remains

Times and titles change but the focus remains the same.

Now that we’re into the season of the starry, starry nights it’s Vincent’s and the first of these pure winter time evening events will start at 7pm.

Tickets are free and a Donation Box will be placed at the door and there will be raffle prizes and refreshments with music at the interval by DJ Dylan.

Grace O’Connor is the new manager of SVP / Vincent’s and she’s enjoying every minute of her new post.

Solid Team Spirit

The shop is run in conjunction with CE workers and a great team of volunteers and there is a solid team spirit about the place.

“Customers comment that the shop looks like a boutique with the layout and quality of clothes on the rails and the variety of goods on the shelves,” said Grace.

Very Affordable

“The girls are excellent at displaying the outfits in the shop. We have ranges of high quality clothes at very affordable prices and I, along with the girls, will be glad to help customers to put some stunning ensembles together from the stock,” she said.

Quality Donations

“We are so lucky that we have so many people donating such good quality clothes to us. We wouldn’t be able to carry on without these donations and we would like to appeal to people to look at their wardrobes and think of us when they decide to de-clutter.

A Good Cause

“We have something for all tastes and we stock books, music and Bric-a-Brac. It’s a pleasure to work here and Vincent’s is a non profit organisation and it’s all for a good cause,” Grace concluded.

Grace O’Connor is a fashion designer who did her training at the Grafton Academy in Dublin and went to study at the London College of Fashion, at Parson’s and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

Paris Fashion Fairs

In the course of her work Grace was commissioned to travel to Paris a couple of times a year to the fashion fairs of the great city. She also has a retail background and has worked at Bergdorf Goodman’s and Tiffany’s in New York for several years.

If it’s soundly based fashion advice you want you know you’ll find it and value for money on Church Street.
