If you are a parent or guardian of a school leaver, Wednesday of next week, February 13th is an important date for your diary.
On that date KCFE is hosting an Information Evening Talk commencing at 6.30pm sharp. This is aimed at informing parents of further education options available to school leavers outside of the CAO system.
Kerry College of Further Education (KCFE), which is run under the auspices of Kerry ETB, has two Tralee based campuses, in Clash and in Denny Street.
Parents of School Leavers
Parents will be given information on the extensive range of quality assured courses which qualify students to go directly into employment or to progress to third level studies.
Third Level Courses
There will be a strong emphasis during the evening on how school leavers can access high point third level courses by undertaking a course at KCFE.
Applications for September 2019 course entry are now being taken online at kerryfe.ie.
First Come Basis
Places will be offered on a first come first served basis for the majority of courses, provided minimum entry requirements are met.
It is important that those interested secure their place as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Open Day on February 27th
There will be a day-long Open Day at the Kerry College of Further Education on Wednesday, February 27th from 10am to 7pm.
