Sheila ADAPTs Photo Sales Approach for Kerry Women’s Refuge Centre

A composite image of a dozen of Sheila Hanrahan’s photographs which she took in various locations around Kerry and which formed the basis of her charity sale for Adapt, Kerry Women’s Refuge, Tralee. 

Castleisland Camera Club member, Sheila Hanrahan wishes to acknowledge all the support and generosity shown towards her recent fundraiser for ADAPT Kerry Womens Refuge Centre. 

Sheila sold a selection of the photographs she has amassed since joining the club on its start-up in March 2017 and her on-line sale realised €500 for her nominated charity.

This organisation provides support to women and their children who experience domestic violence.

Services Needed More Than Ever

“Due to the unprecedented times that we find ourselves in, this service is needed more than ever,” said Sheila.

“Having an interest in photography and being a member of the camera club, I had taken many photos from different locations around Kerry that and I decided to use these as part of the fundraiser.

Thrilled at €500 Raised

“I am thrilled to say that over €500 has been raised for the organisation.

“I thank you all sincerely for your kindness and support. Your generosity means the world to those in need of this service.

“Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a great New Year,” said a delighted and thoughtful Sheila.
