Christmas traditions around the world were celebrated by the pupils at Scoil Íde, Curranes National School on Tuesday 19th. and Wednesday 20th.

The pupils from Junior Infants to sixth class performed the play ‘Children of the World’ for parents, grandparents and other family members in the school hall on both days.

The play explored how children celebrate Christmas in six different countries: Ireland, Poland, USA, Australia, Malawi and China.

Attendance was at capacity on both days and everybody in the audience thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

The school’s parents’ association held a very successful craft fair after the show on both days.
